PENGARUH TATA RUANG DAN FASILITAS KERJA TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA GURU SMK NEGERI 1 PEMATANGSIANTAR
Abstract
The objectives of this research are: 1. To determine the description of spatial layout, facilities, and job satisfaction of Teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar 2. To determine the effect of spatial layout, facilities, and job satisfaction of Teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar both simultaneously and partially.
The results of this study can be concluded as follows: 1. The influence of work discipline, communication, and employee performance is good. 2. There is a positive influence between work discipline, communication, employee performance. 3. There is a good relationship between responsibility, work discipline, communication. Then the high and low performance of employees can be explained by work discipline and communication. 4. The results of the H0 hypothesis test are rejected, meaning that there is a significant influence of work discipline, communication on employee performance both simultaneously and partially.
The suggestions from the results of this study are: 1. To improve the spatial aspect, teachers and students should help each other realize the beauty of a neat and comfortable layout for use. 2. To optimize facilities, every teacher should dedicate himself to the education of the nation's young generation and the sharp sensitivity of school leaders is one of the supporting factors for teachers in getting awards for their performance. 3. To increase job satisfaction, the principal as a leader should find a solution to the promotion of honorary teachers whose salaries are still below the minimum wage, such as recommending teachers to join the P3K program so that the welfare of teachers is equivalent to that of civil servants.
