PENGARUH KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL DAN KECERDASAN SPRITUAL TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI PADA SEKOLAH TINGGI THEOLOGIA (STT) HKBP PEMATANG SIANTAR

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: 1. An overview of emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence and employee performance at the HKBP Pematang Siantar College of Theology (STT). 2. The effect of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on employee performance at the HKBP Theological College (STT) Pematang Siantar both simultaneously and partially. This research uses library research design and field research. The population of this research is all permanent employees of STT HKBP which amounted to 30 people. The types of data used in this study are qualitative data and quantitative data. Data sources used primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are done with questionnaires, interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis techniques used are normality test, qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study can be concluded as follows: 1. Emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence, and employee performance are good. 2. There is a positive influence between emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on employee performance both simultaneously and partially. 3. There is a moderately high relationship between emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence with employee performance. High and low employee performance can be explained by emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence. 4. The results of hypothesis testing state that H0 is rejected, meaning that there is a positive and significant influence between emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on employee performance at the HKBP Pematang Siantar College of Theology (STT) both simultaneously and partially.
